HC Deb 06 April 1903 vol 120 cc1109-10
MR. BELL (Derby)

To ask the Secretary of State for War, whether he is aware that men belonging to the Derby Volunteers who volunteered in the Royal Army Medical Corps, and served in the South African War, have not yet received medals; and if so, can he say when they will receive them.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Brodrick.) It is understood that ten men in question served in the war, but of these only six can at present be traced on the medal rolls. Steps are being taken to issue medals to these six, and inquiries will be made concerning the other four.
