HC Deb 06 April 1903 vol 120 c1119
MR. WEIR

I beg to ask the Lord Advocate if he will explain why the sanitary conditions of the Public Health (Scotland) Act are not enforced in respect of slum property in Glasgow.

* THE LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. A. GRAHAM MURRAY, Buteshire)

I cannot admit the hypothesis on which the hon. Member's Question proceeds. The Public Health Act in Glasgow, as elsewhere, is administered by the local authority under the supervision of the Local Government Board.

MR. WEIR

Very well, I will give the hon. and learned Gentleman information which will show that his information is wholly inaccurate.
