The schools have been placed under the management of a committee of seven, and the staff has undergone considerable changes. The mother superior, the general mistress, and the head schoolmistress, as well as a majority of the sisters, are English. Moreover, the dietary has been improved. Before granting the new certificate I imposed certain conditions as to the conduct of the schools to which the managers agreed.
