WEIRTo ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, in view of the losses sustained by the mercantile marine through the present system of lighting of the entrance to Bilbao Harbour, will he state whether the Spanish authorities have yet been induced to render the lighting more effective.
(Answered by Lord Cranborne.) Since my answer to the hon. Member's Question on this subject of the 7th of May last His Majesty's Counsul at Bilbao has reported that the apparatus for the lighthouse now in course of construction has been ordered.
