To ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer what proportion of the £1,300,000, to be paid yearly under the additional grant under the Aid Grant Clause of the Education (England and Wales) Bill, will be paid (calculated on the usual proportions) by the taxpayers of London.

(Answered by Mr. Ritchie.) It is not possible to say what proportion of the taxation of the United Kingdom is contributed by the taxpayers of London.
