HC Deb 19 November 1902 vol 114 cc1348-9
MR. MACARTNEY (Antrim, N.)

To ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether any precautions are taken by the Inland Revenue Department to ensure that those who shoot game in Ireland are provided with a game certificate; whether the attention of the Department has been directed to evasions of the law in King's County; and whether any steps have been taken in relation thereto.

(Answered by Mr. Hayes-Fisher.) The officers of Inland Revenue in Ireland, with the co-operation of the Royal Irish Constabulary, take every precaution against evasions of the Game Licence Laws. The attention of the Board of Inland Revenue has net been specially drawn to evasions of these laws in King's County.
