WEIRI beg to ask the Lord Advocate, in view of the difficulty experienced by cottars in the Sandwick district of Shetland, and throughout the Highland crofting counties, in obtaining land for house sites, will the Government consider the desirability of introducing legislation such as will give the local authority compulsory powers to obtain land at fair rentals for the requirements of the people.
