HC Deb 30 May 1902 vol 108 c1014
Mr. TREVELYAN (Yorkshire, W.U., Elland)

To ask the Vice-President of the Committee of Council on Education whether, in the event of Clause 8 (e) of the Education Bill becoming law, and the local authority placing a dissenter on the management of a school where provision is made in the trust for the school to revert to the original donor in case of any dissenter having any voice in the control of the same, there is anything to prevent the school becoming subject to such penalty.

(Answer.) The Board of Education has boon advised that if the Bill becomes an Act it will prevent such reversion of the school of the original donor as is suggested in the question.—(Board of Education.)
