§ MR. WEIRI beg to ask the Lord Advocate whether the Congested Districts Board will make arrangements to distribute this year free sittings of eggs in the congested areas in each of the six Highland croftings counties with a view to encourage and improve the breed of poultry; and has the Board ascertained whether their efforts in the Island of Lewis have resulted in an increased number of eggs being sent to market.

In reference to the second part of the Question, the Board have not as yet received any definite information on the point.
