HC Deb 13 March 1902 vol 104 cc1288-9
DR. AMBROSE (Mayo, W.)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, whether he is aware that the inhabitants of the townlands of Derryribbeen and Gortnaclassagh, in the Clogher, co. Mayo, postal district, who were accustomed to a daily delivery of letters, now get their letters delivered only on Saturdays, and can he give any reason for the change from a daily to a weekly delivery.

MR. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAIN

The Postmaster General will have inquiry made as to the arrangements for the delivery of letters in the townlands referred to by the hon. Member in the Clogher district, co. Mayo, and will communicate the result to the hon. Member as soon as possible.
