§ MR. DELANY (Queen's County Ossory)
I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he has received copy of Resolution passed unanimously by the County Council of Queen's County, on the 10th June, expressing adhesion to the principles of the United Irish League, and 423 entering a protest against proceedings under the Criminal Law and Procedure (Ireland) Act; and, seeing that similar resolutions have been passed by other County and District Councils, whether the Government will consider the representations of those local public bodies.
§ MR. WYNDHAM
No, Sir. But if the Question accurately describes the Resolution, I have to say that questions of policy are decided by the votes of Members in this House.
§ CAPTAIN DONELAN (Cork Co., N.)
Has not a similar Resolution been adopted unanimously by the Cork County Council?
