M'CRAE (Edinburgh, E.)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War 655 whether, having regard to the disbursement from the Treasury of £46,300,000 to 31st December last, on account of war expenditure in South Africa for the current financial year, and to the fact that the actual expenditure incurred is likely to exceed that amount, he can inform the House when an opportunity will be given for considering the further supply necessary for the present financial year for the prosecution of the war.
