HC Deb 07 February 1902 vol 102 c657
COLONEL WARDE (Kent, Medway)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War, whether he is aware that on the arrival of our troops at Frankfort last month our soldiers' graves were found to have been desecrated by the Boers, and the crosses placed on them pulled up; and whether he can take any steps that may have the effect of guarding against such action in the future.

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (Mr. BRODRICK,) Surrey, Guildford

I have no information on this subject. I am sure Lord Kitchener will do all in his power.

CAPTAIN DONELAN (Cork, E.)

Will the Boers be afforded an opportunity of refuting this charge?

[No answers was returned.]
