HC Deb 08 August 1902 vol 112 cc1100-1
MR. JOSEPH NOLAN (Louth, S.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if he has received a copy of a resolution adopted by the Managing Committee for Technical Instruction of the county Louth, protesting against the discontinuance of the grant in aid of technical instruction from South Kensington, on the ground that, when recommending the Corporation to adopt the Technical Instruction Act and levy a rate for the purpose, the Department led the Committee to believe that this grant would be available; and will the department reconsider their decision.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) I have already more than once stated that this matter is engaging the consideration of Government.
