§ MR. WEIRI beg to ask the Lord Advocate whether the Secretary for Scotland is aware that at a meeting of the Ross and Cromarty County Council, held at Dingwall in October last, the County Councillor for the Portmahomack Division called attention to the unsatisfactory condition of several of the piers in the county; and that the chairman of the County Council, in supporting this view, expressed the opinion that there should be improved harbour accommodation for Portmahomack; and will he say whether the Government propose to take any action in the matter.
