HC Deb 07 April 1902 vol 105 c1130
MR. JOHN MORLEY (Montrose Burghs)

I desire to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he has anything to tell the House as to the proceedings commonly known as the peace negotiations in the Transvaal; and, secondly, whether he is able to tell us whether the Budget stands for Thursday next.

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY (Mr. A. J. BALFOUR,) Manchester, E.

I am afraid that in neither of these points am I in a position to give any information at the present time. With regard to business, I shall be able to make a statement tomorrow, if the right hon. Gentleman will put his Question again.

MR. GIBSON BOWLES (Lynn Regis)

Do the Rules of Procedure stand for tomorrow?

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

Yes.
