MURNAGHAN (Tyrone, Mid)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether it is the intention of the Department to effect changes in connection with the Omagh Military Barracks, one of which is the establishment of a cavalry depot there; is it proposed to increase barrack accommodation by the erection of additional buildings; and has the land necessary for the purpose yet been obtained.
LORD STANLEYThere is no intention of establishing a cavalry depôt at Omagh, nor is there any present intention of increasing the barrack accommodation.
