I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will state the respective number of Roman Catholic and Protestant children admitted into industrial schools in Ireland in the years 1894, 1895, 1899, and 1900.

The numbers are Roman Catholics, 1,093, 1,177, 839, and 901; Protestants, 134, 153, 116, and 121 respectively.
