HC Deb 06 May 1901 vol 93 c783
DR. FARQUHARSON (Aberdeenshire, W.)

Is it proposed to take Scotch Estimates on Friday, and, if so, in what order?

SIR H. CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN (Stirling Burghs)

Perhaps the right hon. Gentleman can say what the course of business will be this week.

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

The discussions on the Budget resolutions have continued longer than I anticipated, and my arrangement of business has been somewhat disturbed. To-morrow (Tuesday) at the early sitting I propose to introduce the Education Bill. On Thursday the resolution for the Civil List will be brought forward in Committee of Ways and Means, and on Friday Scotch Estimates will be taken. The Lord Advocate will make himself acquainted with the general wishes of the House, and the Estimates will be taken in such order as will generally be convenient to Scotch Members. I hope that, these arrangements being carried out, the House will commence the discussion of the Army resolution on Monday.
