HC Deb 25 June 1901 vol 95 c1404
MR. JOHN CAMPBELL (Armagh, S.)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether His Majesty's Government propose to make any compensation to the man Lillywhite, who was arrested in New Zealand on a charge of murder and brought here for trial, and in whose case the Crown Prosecutor has now entered a nolle prosequi.

*MR. RITCHIE

I am not yet sufficiently in possession of the facts to be able to express any opinion as to what, should be done.
