GERALD BALFOURThe question of the establishment of electrical communication, including wireless telegraphy, between lighthouses, lightships, and the shores of the United Kingdom is under the consideration of a Departmental Committee, appointed in 1899, 94 but I cannot say at present that wireless telegraphy will be selected as the best method of communication in any particular case.
