MR. PATRICK O'BRIENI beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether he can explain the mutiny at Shorncliffe and the causes which led to it.
§ MR. BRODRICKThere was no mutiny, only a quarrel between two detachments. The men obeyed their officers at once—the disturbance was speedily quelled. An inquiry has been held, but no report has yet reached the War Office.
