HC Deb 21 February 1901 vol 89 cc687-8
MR. JOHN CAMPBELL

I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board what steps are being taken to preserve London from the danger of an outbreak of the small-pox epidemic so prevalent in Glasgow.

MR. WALTER LONG

I am happy to say that according to the latest Returns there is at present practically no smallpox in London. It is by the vaccination of unvaccinated persons and the revaccination of adults that effective steps can best be taken to prevent an outbreak of this disease.
