CULLINAN (Tipperary) S.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will advise the Local Government Board to inform county and district councils that the Provisional Order enabling councils to employ direct labour on roads and other works has become law, and that they may now proceed to prepare schemes which can come into operation on the 1st of April next.
§ MR. WYNDHAMThis matter will be fully dealt with in a circular letter which will shortly be issued to the local authorities.
