HC Deb 16 August 1901 vol 99 c1160
MR. JOYCE

I beg to ask the President of the Board of Agriculture whether, having regard to the nature of the inquiry to be held by the Butter Regulation Committee, he would recommend that the evidence of all witnesses be taken in the presence of the press.

MR. HANBURY

The decision on such a point must rest with the Committee themselves, who at their first meeting decided that the usual course should be followed, and the inquiry be held without press reporters.
