HC Deb 30 April 1901 vol 93 c273
MR. DELANY (Queen's County, Ossory)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether, when introducing the promised ad interim Purchase Bill for county Wexford, he will consider the advisability of including therein a provision to compel the landlords of Queen's County to come to terms of purchase with their tenants, so that the £160,000 stock available under the existing Land Purchase Acts for that county may be utilised.

MR. WYNDHAM

No, Sir.

MR. DELANY

Will the right hon. Gentleman not use pressure?

[No answer was returned.]
