I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland to state the number of acres of land purchased by the Congested Districts Board with a view to redistribution among the people in the poor law unions of Ballina, Belmullet, and Killala since the Congested Districts Board was established.

9,410 acres have been purchased for redistribution in the Belmullet Union, but none in the other two unions.
