§ MR. G. W. BALFOURThe information necessary to enable the Local Government Board to come to a decision in the matter of these claims was only received by them in a complete form on the 11th instant from the county council. On the 17th instant an Order was issued authorising payment to the county council of one-half the gratuities awarded to these officers out of the Local Taxation Account.
