HC Deb 17 May 1900 vol 83 cc394-5
MR. ARTHUR J. MOORE (Londonderry)

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War whether the War Office has taken any steps to provide Roman Catholic chaplains for hospital ships or transports returning to this country with sick and wounded.

* MR. WYNDHAM

This matter has not been lost sight of, and arrangements have been made. If the number of Roman Catholics invalided home on any transport were sufficiently large, the military authorities at Capetown have authority to engage, a priest for the voyage.
