*See page 323 of this volume.706 Council on Education if he can inform the House how many schools have come within the exceptions described in Section 3 of the Endowed Schools Act (1869) Amendment Act, 1873; for how many of them schemes have been framed, submitted, and approved, under that section and Section 75 of the Elementary Education Act, 1870; and if Her Majesty's Inspectors, under Sub-section 3 of Section 3, can inspect such schools without the assent, previously obtained, of the trustees or governors.
