COLSTON () Gloucestershire, ThornburyI beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War on what system Militia battalions are embodied or are selected for service in South Africa; and whether in making such selection any special consideration is given to the certificates held by the officers, or the figure of merit (musketry) and numerical strength and efficiency of battalions.
