COHEN () Islington, E.I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War whether, in view of the losses of officers sustained by some of the regiments in South Africa, and of the fact that it has been found necessary to send out officers who have left Sandhurst only a few days, the Secretary of State would permit adjutants of the Auxiliary forces to be temporarily attached to their regiments at the front, provided their colonels are willing to spare their services and can obtain officers of the Reserve to perform their duties.
