WARNERI beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War if the Queen's regulation forbidding officers on full pay attending political meetings applies to Militia officers who are Members of Parliament or candidates; and, if so, if the regulation would be temporarily suspended in case of a General Election, or would candidates be seconded.
§ *MR. WYNDHAMThe Queen's Regulations apply to officers of embodied Militia; the question of providing for the case of Members of Parliament and Parliamentary candidates will be considered.
