§ Dr. FARQUHARSONI beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War what steps are proposed to be taken in connection with the scheme of the Government for increasing the efficiency of the Army to create a proper effective medical organisation for the Militia, Yeomanry, and Volunteers, and would it be represented at the War Office by proper staff officers; and if it is proposed to give effect to the numerous recommendations to the War Office to create the bearer companies of the Volunteer infantry brigades separate units, independent of any particular regiment or regiments of the brigade.
