§ MR. M'KENNA (Monmouthshire, N.)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether in the case of a youth under eighteen years of age who, having enlisted, immediately seeks his discharge, and whose enlistment is unknown to and contrary to the wishes of his parents, he can offer any hope that the discharge will be allowed, notwithstanding the refusal of the general officer commanding the district in which the recruit is stationed.
