I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether any court of inquiry has been held with regard to the surrender of British troops at Nicholson's Nek, Sanna's Post, Reddersburg, Lindley, and Roodeval; and, if so whether the result of such inquiry will be made public.

Courts of inquiry were held in each of the cases referred to, and will be held in all such cases. No decision as to publication can be given till the various reports have been received and considered.
