HC Deb 07 December 1900 vol 88 c203
* SIR CHARLES DILKE (Gloucestershire, Forest of Dean)

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he can give information with regard to the progress of arbitration on the subject of the affair which took place at Waima in 1893, as to which arbitration was announced as having been agreed upon in principle at the time of the discussion of the Foreign Office Vote in 1899, and on which immediate arbitration was promised in the discussion of the Foreign Office Vote in August last.

* VISCOUNT CRANBORNE

All points in connection with the Arbitration, including the selection of the Arbitrator, are settled with the exception of certain details as to procedure, in regard to which a reply is now being awaited from the French Government.
