§ MR. FLAVINI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state how long it is since MR. Wardan, of Sneem, county Kerry, signified his intention of erecting the store at Sneem Pier; what steps have been taken by MR. Warden to carry out his intentions; and, if nothing has been done, will the Government make a representation to MR. Warden to allow others who are prepared to do so to erect this store for the protection of traders' goods.
§ MR. G. W. BALFOURI am not aware that MR. Warden stated it was his intention to erect a store at Sneem Pier, but in July, 1899, he informed the Congested Districts Board that it was the intention of the owners to build a store; at their convenience. No representations have since been received from MR. Warden, but the Board will communicate with him in the matter.
