BUCHANAN (Aberdeenshire, E.)I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether the attention of the Government has been directed to the Report of the Select Committee on the Sea Fisheries Bill, whose first recommendation is that no effort should be spared to arrange for international treatment of the subject of sea fisheries, and especially for the regulation of the North Sea area; and whether the Government will initiate negotiations for the assembling of a conference of the North Sea Powers for this, purpose.
