MR. HANBURY (for the PRESIDENT of the BOARD of TRADE)

As my- right honourable friend stated on the 16th instant, the Board of Trade have been in communication with the Company on the subject, and a copy of their reply was sent yesterday to the honourable Member. The Company state that the matter will have their careful consideration and that. although they have no record of an accident at Erith, any improvement that may be found desirable owing to the increased traffic at that station will be carried out.
