HC Deb 21 March 1899 vol 68 cc1572-3
SIR C. CAMERON (Glasgow, Bridgeton)

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury, whether, for the convenience of Members, he would cause to be issued along with the weekly list of Public Bills now distributed, a list of all Codes or Orders lying upon the Table of the House from time to time, with the dates at which they were laid, and the date at which the period expires within which, unless otherwise determined by the House, they acquire the force of law?

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY (Mr. A. J. BALFOUR, Manchester, E.)

I am informed that there is circulated already a Parliamentary Paper which gives the list referred to in the Question, and apparently affords all the information the honourable Member desires.

SIR. C. CAMERON

was understood to say that it did not give it in the way he wished.

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY

If the honourable Member wants it in a different shape, perhaps he will give me a little more information, and then I will consider the Question.
