HC Deb 03 March 1899 vol 67 c1216
MR. WEIR (Ross and Cromarty)

I beg to ask the Lord Advocate if he will state whether the plans for providing the Peddieston Public School and the farm towns of Ardivall and Muirton (Black Isle) with a suitable water supply have yet been prepared; and will he state what progress has been made in the matter?

THE LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. A. GRAHAM MURRAY,) Buteshire

The Local Government Board have been informed by the District Clerk that the preparations of the District Committee have been retarded by the state of weather since the 29th December last, and the engineer now recommends that the work should not be proceeded with until next month.
