MR. ENGLEDEW (Kildare, N.)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury if he has completed the arrangements in regard to the vouching of the grant for clerical assistance to the various county court officers in Ireland; and, if the arrangements are completed, would he lay upon the Table copies of the various circulars issued in connection therewith, and at the same time furnish a Return showing the amount now being paid out of the grant to the various officers, together with the amounts paid to them as on the 1st day of April, 1897.
§ *Mr. HANBURYYes Sir; the arrangements are completed, and I will furnish a return of the allowances payable on 1st April, 1897, and now; and also a memorandum of the arrangements adopted for vouching the expenditure of the county court officers in Ireland, within the limit of the fixed allowances.
