HC Deb 03 March 1898 vol 54 c454
CAPTAIN A. J. C. DONELAN (Cork, E.)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, whether any decision has yet been arrived at relative to the establishment of sub-post offices at Churchtown and Churchtown South, county Cork?

THE FINANCIAL SECRETARY TO THE TREASURY (Mr. R. W. HANBURY,) Preston

The Postmaster General regrets that the establishment of sub-post offices at Churchtown and Churchtown South, county Cork, is not warranted, the amount of correspondence for each place being small; but a wall letter-box, with an afternoon collection, has been sanctioned for Churchtown South, as the hon. Member was recently informed.
