WHITE-RIDLEY,) Lancashire, BlackpoolI explained, in replying to a question on this subject last Session, that experience of the working of the Act of 1895 had shown that amendment would have to precede consolidation; and I am afraid I see no prospect of my being able to introduce a general amending Bill at present.
