§ MR. J. P. FARRELLI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, if he has received a copy of resolutions adopted at a public meeting in Swanlinbar, county Cavan, on 22nd ult., in favour of the construction of a branch line of the Cavan, Leitrim, and Roscommon Light Railway from Baunboy Road, through Swanlinbar, either to Belcoo or Enniskillen; and will the prayer of the resolutions to have the line constructed by Government aid be granted; and, if so, when?
§ MR. GERALD BALFOURI have received copies of the resolutions referred to. The case of this proposed line will be considered with that of others, but more than this I cannot at present say.
§ MR. FARRELLCan the right hon. Gentleman give us any statement as to the time at which he will apply for money for the extension of light railways?
