PATRICK O'BRIENI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland by whose authority were the police engaged on Sunday, the 28th ultimo, in assisting a man named M'Auliffe, who holds an evicted farm at Knock, County Clare, to erect weirs; and will he take steps to prevent such employment of the police on Sunday?
