asked the Lord Advocate, Whether, in view of the statement by the Secretary for Scotland on Friday, with regard to the Universities (Scotland) Bill, that the Government has abandoned its intention of transferring the Observatory and Botanic Gardens to the University of Edinburgh, he will himself, on behalf of the Government, move to strike out the clauses of the Bill relating to this subject?
