§ THE SECRETARY OF STATE (Mr. E. STANHOPE) (Lincolnshire, Horncastle)Sergeant Major Preston has been promoted to the rank of Quartermaster. With reference to the second Question, I have to say that, in the interest of military discipline, I consider it highly undesirable that Questions of this nature should be asked in the House of Commons, and still more so that they should be answered.
