§ MR. J. K. CROSSsaid, that the matter was the subject of communication between Her Majesty's Government and the Government of India. The Prime Minister gave an answer to this Question on Friday, and he had nothing further to add.
§ MR. BOURKEasked when Papers on the subject would be laid upon the Table?
§ LORD EDMOND FITZMAURICEreplied, that it was impossible to fix any particular date for the production of the Papers.
§ MR. BOURKEsaid, the Papers he referred to were Papers which had been alluded to several times this Session. He asked whether any Correspondence had taken place between the Indian Government and the Ameer? Those were the Papers he asked for, and perhaps the noble Lord would say when they would be presented.
